What's YOUR Story?

Feb 09, 2024

You have a story to tell, I know you do. Every woman has one. It may be something you wear like a badge of honor, or hide away because it makes you vulnerable and uncomfortable. Your experiences, challenges, and triumphs are crucial parts of your personal brand.

It can be hard, but there is power in sharing your journey authentically, and connecting with others and sharing your story on a personal level. Whether it's overcoming obstacles, pursuing education, or breaking through barriers, your story contributes to your narrative, and I bet it will resonate with other women who share similar experiences.

Whether you realize it or not, you have a personal brand. When people hear your name or see your face, there's at least one or two words that come to mind that they associate with the core of who you are. That's your brand, and that brand can work for you or it can work against you. In our signature coaching package we work on refining your brand and ensuring that your narrative tells your story in your voice.

Cultivate a Strong Online Presence

No matter who you are, and whether you like it or not, you have an online presence. That online presence is an extension of your personal brand. If you aspire to grow in your career, having a cohesive image across your various platforms will help tell your story.

As you are evaluating your online presence, you may look to audit your expertise, think about what insights you share, and consider how you engage with the people who are looking to your online presence. Example: hiring managers will look to your LinkedIn. They may also do a Google search about you. Are they going to find articles that you've written on LinkedIn? Are they going to find volunteer events that you have attended or hosted in your community is what they are going to find aligned with the narrative of your personal brand?

Hello

Foster Relationships and Network

Some of your brand can be done behind-the-scenes but much of the confirmation of your brand is based on the relationships that you foster and your network. networking is so incredibly important. If you're an introvert, this is your queue to check out the blog post on networking for introverts.

Networking is something that is uncomfortable for you might I offer a suggestion, my friend? Approach networking with what you can give back to the community at large I have found that it is so much easier to give them to. And the more you give the more people want to give back to you. It makes the networking process feel much less like an uphill challenge.

What do you want to leave them with?

Your personal brand is dynamic. It involves. As a woman you will go through different phases in your life in your career in the life that you desire for yourself. That's OK, because your brand can evolve with you.

Today I hope you give yourself an opportunity to be seen and tell your story. I hope you showcase your incredible strength, your no nonsense resilience, and your authentic self. I hope you see YOU for all the amazing things you are.

As uncomfortable as that vulnerability may be embrace the reflection in the mirror. Ask that woman: what are your values? what makes you who you are? You are your brand you are your niche and building that brand is not just about professional success. It's also about the imprint that you leave on this world.

Until next time friend
